I SOLD HOME

That’s right ‘fans’! I am a published author as of 4:25 CMT May 11, 2011!!!!! (I didn’t actually open her email until 9 last night)

And I can’t think of a better way to celebrate my new website grand opening than with MY OWN sale! I got ‘The Call’ in the form of a cute email from my editor, Nan Swanson at The Wild Rose Press. My contract is held hostage by a mouse. Yes, I said  mouse. lol Long story. But as soon as I have a contract and details I’ll be sure to post it all here. In the meantime, you can check out the blurb and current book info on my Bookshelf page.

Thank you all for your support and encouragement. Thanks t my fellow Outlaws for your input and critiques. I so appreciate you all! Thanks to my Twinkies for being there as always! You’re the best cps in the world!!!

A special thank you to my wonderful husband who has single-handedly informed most of Northern California with two phone calls. He hasn’t gotten to the computer to send out emails yet… That should sufficiently finish Northern California. lol Thank you to my beautiful daughters for their patience with my frantic late night call last night to share the news with them.

About Calisa Rhose

I'm a mother of three daughters and wife to a wonderful man of 35+ years. I'm also an avid seamstress, polymer clay artisan and die-hard crafter, always coming up with things to make with, and for, my six granddaughters and two grandsons. Check out my craft site https://lisasfancifulallure.wordpress.com/ when you have a moment. I'm also a small online business owner of Okie fLips on Etsy and Poshmark (eBay/Merkari coming soon), https://www.etsy.com/people/cmselfridge and https://poshmark.com/closet/okieflips I'm a published author of sensual romance. I write about stubborn men and women who don't take no for an answer, and there's always that golden HEA. Cowboys and first responders are my favorite contemporary heroes to write about. My light paranormal heroes are strong men ready to protect their women--not that they need protecting, since they are capable of caring for themselves.

  2. Funny how one computer can feel so different from another. Thanks for stopping in Gunnar.

  3. Funny! I’m the same way on my husband’s laptop. Hate that trackpad. But I love the one on my little old Mac laptop, a computer that predates the century. Ja, that’s why I write historical fiction.

  4. Thanks for dropping by mysterywriter. The mouse tail…

I love my laptop, I’m on it now (mostly because I don’t have internet connected to the desky). But I keep a retractable mouse in the case that goes wherever I go with LT. I hate using the mouse pad on LT because I always end up going somewhere I don’t want to go, erasing something I needed to keep, unmerited scrolling, resizing pages- some bad, or irritating, always happens when I use it. If I turn it off- what good is it when working? So I have an external keyboard (that often goes with the mouse and I), and the plugnplay mouse.
Apparently my editor feels the same way. She was going to send the contract as soon as she found a mouse for her laptop since she was on the road when she offered the contract. lol My hubby kept making jokes that the mouse must have ate the contract. I deemed it held hostage by the mouse. But, guess what? It’s free and I have the contract!

Congratulations, Calisa! And don’t forget to tell us about the mouse, if not on your blog then in a story. It sounds a cute tail, pun intended.
