Where I am
Osiyo~
I’m at a place I hate to be. I’m talking writing-wise. I have one ms with the author for first round edits. I finished judging all my entries for the Great Beginnings contest, have time set aside on the weekend to get to crits for my super crit partners who’ve been so patient while I get everything caught up. I have a Beta read to get finished, which is more like an enjoyable read than work. I have two stories I need to finish in the next month and a new website to build. Two websites, actually, but I’ll focus on one for now.
I’m a free agent at the moment. Nothing super pressing to do. So why do I hate it, you ask? Why not take advantage of the free time to read one of the gazillion books from other wonderful writers sitting in paper and on my Kindle? So what’s my problem?
Did you see the line that says I have two stories I need to finish in the next month? That’s my problem. My body decided that, since I don’t have anything to do, it will get sick. Yes, my lovelies, sick. Sore throat, ear ache, chest congestion, head congestion, feel like a pack of dogs used me for a race track…sick. I hate being sick when there’s so much potential to get some writing or reading in! I want to sleep…and sleep.
So- I’m going to draw up my big girl panties, as opposed to my grannie panties, and write. After all, I’ll have the ms back soon from the author for round two edits and I won’t be able to write for a few days when she returns her revisions.
Look out fireman, come cough or sneeze, here I come! I think he may know CPR… 🙂

Lol My diligence continues, J.D. I went to bed last night with determination to write today. The will is there, but the energy is waning. 🙂 I’ve decided five words at a time is a good thing. 🙂

I agree! I always tell my friends, hell if you can get 100 words out a day, at least you’re a 100 words closer to “the end”. 🙂 Food for thought….?

We’ve had such a mild winter here but it’s up and down- 40 one day and then 70 the next before it drops back down to 50. Just make up your mind already, Mother Nature! Thanks Kristi. I hope you and the Bebe and hubs stay well.
