The NEW Ranch and a tour ~ Calisa Rhose

Osiyo~

Welcome back if you’ve been to The Ranch before. I’m happy you tried me if this is your first visit!

As you’ve no doubt noticed, The Ranch got a facelift, a revamp I promised several months ago. I’m thrilled to have you at the grand Re-opening!:D

I’d love to hear what you think. Take a look around, check out the new corals I’ve added. Sign up to be a guest on The Ranch, read the revised blogging requirements and suggestions,  and read the new excerpt I posted. I’ve also added a page to let you know what I’ve read recently, and what I’ll be reading next. I’m not quite finished with adding all of these yet, but check back often for new tbr books! I’ve even opened comments on that page so you can share what you’ve recently read or are currently reading. No spoilers, please. 😀

I’ve decided to spotlight some of my critique partners most current releases, again not yet finished, but it will be soon. I hope you’ll browse around and see all the new offers on the site and then come back and let me know what you think of it all.

Once you are signed up to guest blog you, and followers, can keep track with my guest schedule page in the drop down menu under the Ranch Guests tab where you’ll also find the rules and sign up pages.

Some of the new pages are in drop down menus of existing pages so be sure to note those as you wander around.

I have some NaNoing to get done, but please drop in tomorrow and visit with my first guest since the makeover. My Lyrical sister and friend, Mae Clair has a wonderful and informative post planned. Come show her some Ranch love!

Thank you for coming to check out the new site and I’ll see you again soon.

Dodadagohvi~

PS. The NaNo post is still active for check ins and encouragement all month!

  4. Very pretty, Calisa! I recently had to redo my old blog too. Moved from blogger to wordpress, because of blogger issues.

    • Hi Susan! I wasn’t having issues with Blogger but wanted a website I could create a header for myself. Yes Blogger allows it, but I don’t know anything about html so I couldn’t make and add one on Blogger like I have and can on WP. 🙂

  6. Looks fantastic, loads swiftly, very sleek.

    • Thanks Maddy. That’s good to know because with my ‘slower-not-slow’ internet it does load slower for me at times than the other theme and background did.

    • LOL Would you believe the ‘pink’ is what took so long to settle on? I am not a pink person- but this is more rose-colored and I was going for name matching. 🙂 Thanks!

  11. I love it. It’s pretty, easy to navigate and doesn’t hurt my eyes. Pink isn’t my favorite color, but it’s the best color for people with eye problems. I think I’ll look around some more.

    • I’m NOT a ‘pink’ person either Sandy. But I wanted something that says ‘romance’ and suits me too and this seemed to do both. LOL Have a fun tour.

  13. Beautiful Calisa! I’m so impressed with WP and have been tempted to move my site over, but I worry it is just too hard now! Love the background you’ve got here.

    • Oh, LaVerne- it’s really not hard at all! You have Blogger don’t you? If so WP allows you to import your content with a click of a button. I’d been with Blogger for four years before moving last year and it was very simple. Once I had my site how I wanted it, I clicked to import. Done. Thank you for coming and commenting. 🙂

    • I was scared to death when I first moved to WP a year ago, Marika. It was my first ‘do it yourself’ site I was really able to do myself so I thought, now that I’ve learned so much more about creating, I’d show my limited talents and update it. Thanks!
