Before I get to today’s fun I want to make a short announcement about my Risk Factors blog tour. I was going to announce the winners of the gifts today, but I have decided to do that at the end of the month to give time for others to comment on all the posts and me time to catch up with recording the ones who did. So, on April 30 I will announce the commenting winner and the blog host.

The winners will get either a Gift Certificate or a Rose Rock, depending if they are US or overseas/Canada, and a PDF of Risk Factors.

I’m tickled to announce that dear friend and sister Wild Rose Press author, Jerrie Alexander, has awarded me and several other deserving recipients with the Sunshine Award! I met Jerrie when she sold her first book, The Green-Eyed Doll to our shared publisher last year. She’s a kind and very talented writer and has an amazing blog I’ve been invited to a time or two. She deserves this award and I’m honored she passed it on to me.

The Sunshine Award is a lovely sunny flower that bloggers give to other “bloggers who positively and creatively inspire others in the blogosphere”.

Here are my answers to the questions:

Favorite Color: Dark green, though I also like dark red

Favorite Animal: It’s a toss between my horse, Sonny, and my toy Chihuahua, Cocoa (Li’l Miss Cocoa Rio)

Favorite Number: 2

Favorite Non-alcoholic Drink: Coffee and time of day or night and various blends. I love mochas with lots of whipped cream and drizzle.

Facebook or Twitter: Both, though I’m pretty lazy about either. lol

Your Passion: Being a learning influence for  my five granddaughters.

Giving or getting presents: Giving. That’s not to say I don’t like to receive! I just like to watch someone’s face when they open a present from me.

Favorite Day: I don’t know why, but I’ve always liked Tuesday. I even got married on a Tuesday because it’s just the day I like most.

Favorite Flowers: Carnation. They are just so wild and pretty and smell so lovely.
