Tuesday Tales Presents Sarah Hoss on Friday
Osiyo~
Welcome one and all! Grab a beverage of choice, something sweet and sinful. No-no, not the men. What’s the matter with you? You know the hands-on rules… The guest gets first pick! 😉 It’s time for another round of Tuesday Tales, where my special guests share their tales of good books and fun! Take a comfy seat for another, or maybe your first, spin in the Round Pen.
Yes, I know it’s Friday and this is a Tuesday post. My guest and I choose to blame it on cyber goblins eating emails we needed four days ago! That said…
I’m thrilled to welcome my wonderfully talented guest today, sister WRP author Sarah Hoss, who is sharing her heavenly book, Heaven Sent with us! I thought it would be fun to host her today since I’m taking on her blog today. I hope you’ll visit me here www.heart-of-romance.blogspot.com
Please show Sarah some real Ranch love!
Okay, I’ll begin with five questions, then follow with three more, and end with four final ones.
My writing area at the moment is a corner of the couch in my living room. What does your writing space look like? I wait until the husband and kids are gone for the day then I go into the living room and get comfortable on the couch.
For a lot of writers it’s a life-altering event coming up with titles and character names. Others it comes as naturally as breathing. Which is it for you? Depends on the story. Half of mine were easy and the other half I had to fight to get to come forth.
What advice would you offer aspiring and new writers? Don’t do this by yourself. Get a critique partner, or find a writing group to join. You need someone you can bounce ideas and questions off of.
Great advice. The constant shift of the industry makes me often scratch my head and ask ‘what next?’ So, what do you think it takes to be a successful author at the moment? Be consistent in what you are doing. Write what you love.
Who would you like to meet in the publishing industry- dead or alive- and why? Maya Angelo. I am such a huge fan whether it is her stories or her poems.
It’s time for 3 in 1! I’ll ask the questions and you answer them in one word. 😆
Favorite animal? HORSE
Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter? WINTER
Favorite food? ITALIAN
Well done! 🙂
Okay, Flash four. Ready?
What are you working on now? A novella and the second novel to follow Dreams of the Highlander.
What are you sharing today?
When forgiveness heals the soul, love heals the heart.
Flight nurse Tenlee Hawkins is used to making quick decisions, but one decision she made the Christmas day her mother died haunts her. Wrestling with the past, she spirals into depression—until the day she finds a man unconscious in her woods and saves his life.
When Sam awakens in the hospital with a concussion and no memory, Tenlee rescues him again. She takes him into her home and her life. But as Sam recovers and remembers who he is, he’s torn. A guardian angel isn’t supposed to fall in love.
As the promise of true love grows, Tenlee realizes that Sam has helped her much more than she ever helped him. But Sam is filled with guilt knowing he must soon leave. Will it take a Christmas miracle to find the life with Tenlee he’s always wanted?
