Six Sentence Sunday

Osiyo~
It’s that time again! I’m talkin about Six Sentence Sunday! <– Follow this link to the main SSS site to find many, many more authors to check out.
What is it?
It’s where I give you a teaser of something I have written or am in the process of writing. Six sentences to be exact. The last few weeks I posted from my WIP Hearts Afire- yep, my Fireman. Last week I gave a taste of my shifter Alphas, Logan and Beth.
This week I want to revive my published work with a favorite scene blip. I love Sam Callahan and Poppy Tippen from my novella, Home. So here they are, my soldier-doctor and the gypsy. 🙂
“What the…?” He watched tomatoes and an orange roll back to the cashier’s checkout stand before he turned to see who had steamrolled him, angry words ready on his tongue.
“Hey, soldier, you dropped something. Want some help?”
Poppy Tippen. He should have guessed by her sweet, flower scented perfume that it was her bombing into him like a missile.
Thanks for dropping in! Come back next week to see how this snippet continues!

PS. Check in tomorrow for a special guest.
About Calisa Rhose
I'm a mother of three daughters and wife to a wonderful man of 35+ years. I'm also an avid seamstress, polymer clay artisan and die-hard crafter, always coming up with things to make with, and for, my six granddaughters and two grandsons. Check out my craft site https://lisasfancifulallure.wordpress.com/ when you have a moment. I'm also a small online business owner of Okie fLips on Etsy and Poshmark (eBay/Merkari coming soon), https://www.etsy.com/people/cmselfridge and https://poshmark.com/closet/okieflips I'm a published author of sensual romance. I write about stubborn men and women who don't take no for an answer, and there's always that golden HEA. Cowboys and first responders are my favorite contemporary heroes to write about. My light paranormal heroes are strong men ready to protect their women--not that they need protecting, since they are capable of caring for themselves.Posted on 04/01/2012, in Welcome and tagged #TWRP, Calisa Rhose, Debut author, HOME, Pen of the Dreamer, SSS, Tales of the Scrimshaw doll, Tina Lynn Stout, Writing. Now is he annoyed or pleased by her steamrolling?

At this point he’s not happy to have unwanted attention brought to him. 🙂 You’ll have to read it to find out why! 🙂

Love the image you created of him being “steamrolled” and “bombed into like a missile” by this lovely lady with the sweet, flower scented perfume. Wonderful juxtaposition, Calisa. Great work.

I wasn’t sure when I began this story just how they would meet. When she barreled into him the whole story just clicked.
